Draft of contents page

I decided to make my contents page relate to the genre of my music magazine quite strongly. The image of the DJ on the decks shows the audience that the magazine will strongly relate to the dubstep and DnB genre. The sound bars in the background are a good contrast the dark colours in the back which will help the page stand out. Also the sound bars in the background relate to the genre of music that the music magazine is about. Of course the sound bars are edited to make them stand out a little more instead of having the original image that was used. I think that this is a good design for the contents page because it would be the first page the consumer would be looking at and due to the fact it will have a big impact once they open the magazine it would persuade the consumer to read on. I had included the "UKF" logo due to the fact that it is a well known dubstep promotion company and consumers will instantly recognize the logo. This is a good use of synergy because it shows that the viral company "UKF" are being promoted by a magazine and vice versa, thus giving the reader the idea both types of media are working together.
